Retreat Recordings
It is a fruitful practice to go through a set of retreat recordings on your own. Set aside time to absorb them. Even sit the retreat on your own, as a self-retreat. Retreats offer an extended arc of teaching through which to develop a theme; they create a container with a beginning, middle, and end.

Heart and Mind in Harmony (May 2021)
A 6-day online retreat sponsored by Insight Santa Cruz
As we learn and practice the Dharma, it begins to "soak into" our body, heart, and mind. It changes the way we see, act, and live. In this retreat, we explore how the Dharma both purifies and strengthens the heart and mind, such that our life feels more harmonious and we become a refuge for others. Peace is possible.

Heart, Mind, Peace: A Retreat to Explore the Citta (Jan/Feb 2021)
A 6-day online retreat sponsored by the New Mexico sanghas
In our daily life, we are often asked to think, plan, and organize. We may yearn for the heartfulness we feel in our spiritual practice. In the Dharma, heart and mind are intimately connected in what is called the citta (“heart-mind”) – we don’t have to choose. In this retreat, we will explore what lies deeper than both surface thought and surface emotion, seeing how the citta can pervade our life both on and off the cushion.
