Consulting to Dharma Groups
Note: I have largely transitioned out of this work, as I mostly serve the Dharma through teaching. But feel free to get in touch after you've read the article below, and perhaps I can point you in some helpful direction.
---------------
Old text:
I began this work because groups started to ask me for help when they were undergoing significant changes, such as teacher transitions, rapid growth, internal conflicts, or ethical challenges. I have experience with dozens of groups through the Buddhist Insight Network, and have also worked with teachers and leaders from other Buddhist traditions. I offer a multifaceted perspective with experience as a teacher, board member, facilitator, and organizational development consultant.
With over a decade of leadership in the Dharma world, I understand the culture. I bring all the skills of a sound facilitator and organizational consultant to the Dharma-specific areas of teacher transition (succession planning) and creation of structures that fit the sangha's mission.
To get started: Here is an article I wrote that is mainly about Teacher Transition in Dharma groups, but its lessons go beyond that particular topic. It may get you started with any kind of change you are facing.
