Retreat: "When Awareness Becomes Natural"
At Big Bear Retreat Center in Southern CA
Aug 21-27 (6 nights)
Co-taught with Lienchi Tran
Vipassana retreats are set up so that people can have few duties in order to be more aware of their experience moment to moment. We will become more familiar with the working of our minds, and also more wise in how we see and respond to experience. We may encounter the particular negative habits that create needless stress for us (such as worry, annoyance, dissatisfaction, unhappiness, jealousy, or the inner critic). When the light of awareness shines on these habits, they naturally recede and weaken, and in their place the positive habits of mind grow (such as goodwill, kindness, compassion, gratitude, happiness, self-respect and appreciation). Vipassana practice also has the potential to lead toward liberating insight into experience.
On this 6-night retreat, you will be guided in mindfulness of the mind and body and encouraged to practice being aware of all you do throughout the day.
Registration open now.
